Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that can occur after a person experiences a traumatic event. It’s normal to feel stressed or upset after you’ve been through trauma, but for some people these feelings don’t go away. But there are things you can do to help yourself feel better again.

Be Willing To Forgive Yourself

Forgiveness is a process. It’s not about letting people off the hook and saying, “It’s okay for you to do this.” Forgiveness is about letting go of the anger and resentment that keeps you stuck in your past so that you can move forward into healing and happiness.

As I mentioned, forgiveness isn’t always easy but it is necessary if we want to heal from trauma or PTSD. If there are people who have offended us in some way (which can include ourselves), it’s important that we’re willing to forgive them because holding onto those negative emotions will keep us stuck in our pain forever.

Learn To Recognize When You Are Having A Flashback

If you are having a flashback, try to recognize it and don’t be afraid of your feelings, says Dr Julian Sargon-Ungar. You may have heard that flashbacks are scary or painful, but this isn’t always true. In fact, they can also be positive experiences that bring back good memories of friends or family members who have passed away.

Write Down What You Are Feeling

Writing things down can be very helpful because sometimes when people talk about their problems they forget some details or they don’t tell all of the facts because they don’t want other people knowing them or they feel ashamed by them but by writing everything down in detail it makes everything clearer and easier for everyone involved especially yourself so that way when someone asks how things went today after work or school etc., you won’t have trouble remembering what happened because all those details were already written down on paper beforehand!
